The topic of this article is to help you gain clarity with your offer so you can begin to make an income online.

There are 3 components and they’re all universal.

Meaning you can use them across any social media platform and they’ll always work.

After a few years in the game, I’ve got it nailed down to 3 simple questions:

  • Why are you here?
  • What do you do?
  • How do you help?

Let’s dive into each with examples.

Your Calling (why the hell are you here?)

Once you’re aware, use this formula to create a simple one-sentence statement:

Formula: Verb + Target Audience + Desired Outcome

Example: Helping purpose-driven entrepreneurs start, grow, and monetise their online business.

Your Offer (what do you do?)

Now we have our current life’s purpose:

Helping purpose-driven entrepreneurs start, grow, and monetise their online business.

It’s time to focus on what we do. Our offer.

This is the product or service you provide that will solve the needs of your audience.

It should clearly communicate the value you offer and how it solves their burning problem.

Formula: Action Verb + Service/Product + Unique Selling Proposition

Example: Offering 1:1 coaching calls to purpose-driven entrepreneurs to help them gain clarity with their offer, define their target audience, and grow their online business.

Your Mechanism (how will you do it?)

Now we have our purpose:

Helping purpose-driven entrepreneurs start, grow, and monetise their online business.

Our offer:

Offering + 1:1 business coaching calls to purpose-driven entrepreneurs + to help them gain clarity with their offer, define their target audience, and grow their online business.

Now it’s time to focus on how you’re going to deliver your offer.

It should touch on the strategies, tools, or methods you use to deliver results.

Formula: Action Verb + Strategies/Tools + Unique Approach

Example: Providing hands-on support to help entrepreneurs gain clarity, develop effective business strategies, and implement actionable steps to achieve their online goals.

Summary

  • Your Calling (why are you here?)
  • Your Offer (what do you do?)
  • Your Mechanism (how will you do it?)

Clarity is the most important aspect of your offer.

If you don’t clearly define what do you and how you can help, you’ll struggle to make money online. But by using the formula above? Your audience will know exactly what you do and how you can help.
